Fusarium mycotoxins, such as deoxynivalenol (DON), zearalenone (ZEA), T-2, andHT-2, may occur in cereal crops in the field as a result of Fusariumhead blight (FHB). To prevent this fungal disease in the field, “The UK Code of Good Agricultural Practice to Reduce Fusarium Mycotoxins
in Cereals” identifies critical hazard control points (key risk factors) and recommends crop management strategies such as selection of resistant varieties and the use of fungicides. The complete document can be accessed at the following URL:
