The issue’s 20 research papers and reviews deal with the following topics: gene profiling, expression and regulation in relation to mycotoxin production by Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus; biodiversity of Aspergilli and Fusaria and their occurrence in crops in different geographical areas; and molecular methods for detection of mycotoxigenic fungi, immunochemical methods for rapid detection of mycotoxins, multi-mycotoxin analysis by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, and biomarkers of fumonisin exposure. |
