The Editor, Dr. Angelo Visconti, serves as Director of the Institute of Sciences of Food Production (ISPA), part of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Dr. Visconti was formerly the Director of CNR’s Institute of Toxins and Mycotoxins from Plant Parasites (ITEM). ITEM has been recognized as one of the world’s foremost institutes devoted to the study of the chemistry and the biology of mycotoxins and mycotoxin-producing fungi.
